    Denver International Airport (DEN): Approximate driving time is 1 hour and 40 minutes and distance is 95 miles.

    Driving directions from Denver International Airport: Exit the airport on Pena Blvd and continue south for about 10 miles. Take Exit 1A / I-70. Proceed west for about 78 miles. Take Exit 205 / US-6 E / Dillon. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left onto US-6 and proceed east for 6.2 miles to Keystone Resort.

    Airport shuttles and rental cars are the most popular ways of getting from the airport to the hotel. One-way shuttle fares are more than $36, and advance reservations are suggested. Fee subject to change without notice. Car rentals are available online. Winter driving conditions can be hazardous, which makes the shuttles an especially popular choice.

    Getting around: The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to the ski lifts every five minutes. Also, Keystone Resort provides complimentary shuttle service to all areas of the resort through a combination of scheduled routes and on-call (EASE) buses. The Summit Stage provides free bus service throughout Summit County, including to other ski areas. The Summit Stage buses depart regularly from the Silverthorne and Frisco Transfer Centers and many other key locations throughout the county year round. Buses have ski/snowboard racks in the winter and bike racks in the summer. Taxis are also available. Convenient alternative transportation makes renting a car necessary only for travel to outlying areas.

    DINING
    The Garden Room - Located on the third floor of the lodge, this elegant restaurant offers a panoramic view of Keystone Lake and the Snake River Valley. The dinner menu includes steaks and fresh seafood, and an extensive wine list. Breakfast, served outdoors in summer, offers menu choices during the week and a weekend buffet of eggs, smoked seafood, breakfast meats, baked goods, and fresh fruits.

    Edgewater Cafe - This casual family restaurant offers homemade soups, specialty sandwiches, and salads for lunch daily. It features lakeside patio seating in summer, and window views of the ice-skating pond in winter.

    Edgewater Express - Cold sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly baked goods, and Starbucks coffee drinks are available to go at this deli, which is located inside the Edgewater Cafe and open daily for breakfast and lunch.

    The Bighorn Steakhouse - Summit County’s premier steakhouse, open nightly for dinner, features choice cuts of beef served with soup, salad, vegetables, and freshly baked bread. House specialties include the buffalo burger and steakhouse stew.

    Tenderfoot Lounge - The hotel’s popular bar, open nightly, features a large fireplace surrounded by leather sofas, and offers views of the Ten Mile Range.


    AMENITIES & SERVICES
    What to expect: This six-floor lodge, nestled in Keystone Resort, has a pine-trimmed lobby decorated with fresh flowers, sofas with coordinating armchairs, and walls of windows that overlook Keystone Lake. Its proximity to the mountain and the Keystone Convention Center, which is across the street, make the lodge appealing to business travelers as well as vacationers.

    Amenity highlights: Guests can choose from one of four on-site restaurants, or they can borrow a BMW for the evening and dine in Breckenridge, 14 miles west of Keystone. Other amenities include a day spa offering a variety of services, such as massages and facials (fees), and a fitness center with treadmills, stationary bicycles, free weights. A steam room, sauna, and a tanning bed are also available. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to the lifts.

    Insider tip: Seventeen trails and a lighted terrain park for snowboarders are open until 8 PM at Keystone Mountain during winter, making it one of Colorado’s favorite night skiing spots. Night skiing is included in the cost of a lift ticket, but discounts are available for late arrivals.

    The lodge features four restaurants as well as a bar. Complimentary services include BMW driving tours, parking, and hotel shuttle service to the lifts. Guests also have access to a business center and laundry facilities. The day spa includes three treatment rooms for facials and body treatments (fees).     RECREATION
    The hotel has an outdoor pool and a fitness center with exercise bikes, treadmills, weight machines, and free weights. The lodge is located on Keystone Lake, where guests enjoy ice-skating during winter and paddle boating, kayaking, and canoeing in summer.

    Summit County offers numerous recreational activities. Besides skiing and snowboarding, winter sports include ballooning, sleigh rides, and snow tubing. Summer sports include hiking, biking, gold panning, ballooning, rafting, and mine tours.

    In the Keystone area, guests play golf at Keystone Ranch or The River Course at Keystone. Guests also drive to the Breckenridge Golf Course, a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed municipal course, 10 miles west of Keystone; Copper Creek, the highest championship golf course in North America, located at Copper Mountain, 12 miles west of Keystone; and The Raven Golf Course at Three Peaks in Silverthorne, 15 miles west of Keystone.
